55 hp seaking engine

I have a seaking 55 hp engine, the model # 7wb27956b and serial # 20228
can anyone help me with year and general information. Any ideas on where to find parts for this engine. thanks for any help in advance.....papabell

It's a West Bend (wb) Chrysler, but beyond that I know absolutely nothing that can help you...others will be along soon who can.

My info indicates 69 ,Chrysler built.Champion L4J plugs set at .030,points set at .020 on magneto ignition,.015 on battery ignition.Tillotson WB carb 50:1 fuel mix.The Chrysler Crew may be able to help on parts.Ignition,fuel system and cooling parts may be available right here under the Chrysler application.

Not that it matters, but the L4J plug was discontinued 20 something years ago. If I remember correctly it was changed to the L82C plug. It will actually run a lot better on the NGK B7HS. Do not use the B6HS spark plug that the NGK application book says it calls for as it is an error.
