With the carb bowl removed, invert the carb body. The float should sit with the (normally) upper face flush and level with the (normally) lower face of the carb body.<br />As for carb needles. Set the high speed (lower needle) at about 1 full turn, and the low speed (upper needle) at about 1.5 turns. Adjust from there, starting with the high speed needle, motor in gear and at maximum throttle setting. Turn needle inwards (clockwise) until motor loses speed or sneezes and back out 1/8 turn to assure you don't have it too lean. Then adjust the low speed needle with motor at low idle, still in gear. Slowly turn needle inwards until motor loses speed or starts to sneeze, then back out 1/8 turn. Keep in mind, these are general settings - every motor is different. Once set, I like to loosen the center set-screw and adjust the knobs to center them up.<br />- Scott
