57 evinrude fuel lines

i need to know the fuel line map formy 57 18hp its still the two line tank. i have it fuel in to filter then to carb the air line from intake man . to or from tank. is this ok . need help it will only fire with either sorry then it dies has good spark. dave

Bit of a confusing post for me.

Do you have the factory connector installed or did you hard wire this somehow? Be sure that the lines are not switched, they are labelled.

If it will fire and run for a bit, then die, your pressure tank may not be functioning properly. A little more information would help us guide you properly.

yes it has pressure in the tank and i did change the fuel lines because the glass filter bowl wouldnt fill now the fuel goes directly from the tank to the filter then the carb the air linegoes to the intake man. the bowl is full but wont fire excrpt with either.no gas is getting to the venturi.

Have you cleaned/rebuilt the carb?

sounds like what lindy said, but adding periods or comma's, or any punctuation in sentences makes it so much easier to help out.
