I just re-did a 20ft 58 Owens and haven't seen another 1 anywhere on line or clubs ??

Been there, the closest they have to mine is a, I think, 27' with inboards.

Yes, beautiful job. I saw one just like it a few years ago at the Skaneatleles,NY antique boat show on the Finger Lakes. As I recall, there was a small outboard runabout Owens there too. Not a common boat. Owens are prized in NY, but not many outboards around.

Thanks all.. Have a 54 Mark5 that I'm working on for a kicker. This boat was in a shed for 40 yrs and the Mark 78 only had 79hrs. I just got a 59 Mark 78A and when I get it down here I'm thinking about having both on the boat...

Yeah! Just need to 'talk' a lot, whether it makes any sense or not. That's how I got to be a Lieutenant! :D

Back in the 60's there were alot of plywood Owens cruisers on the Fox Chain. Most were 24-27' inboards though I do seem to recall a couple outboards running around as well.

1 have a 61 owens exeter it has similler but not the same and i also been looking for another exeter
