Took this 14' boat out for first time and it ran well both forward and reverse. Within 30 minutes our forward speed dropped regardless of engine speed. It seemed to happen after we started to open the throttle up about half way. Took a lunch break started back up and could only go at trolling speed, so we trolled

. That was two days ago. Today I pulled the prop and drive pin was intact. This motor has a prop clutch but I don't know how to test it. There were two small holes on the starboard side of the gearcase that were oozing a small amount of tan grease
. One hole was the middle hole of three holes by the screws conecting the gearcase to exhaust tube. The other hole was a single hole above the prop on the topside of the gearcase and bearing assembly. Any suggestions on how I should proceed
