There was a thread here within the last year - some guy from the UK I think.

He totally redid a 1980 or so 14' fiberglass boat. He had a 6-gallon tank under each back to back seat complete with sending units.

The thread was called 'what you can do with a 14' boat' or something to that effect. I can't find it anywhere! Anyone else locate it?

While your looking senders take a look at Wemausa.com. They are the OEM supplier for a lot of the boat companies these days. Unlike the arm/ float type sensors they don't bounce all over the place and are very accurate.

Prices are comparable to the cheap Tempo units as well

There are ultrasonic level sensors that could be glued to the top of the tank, (no holes). I've worked with them but didn't price them, I suspect ~$100.
