how would you know without trying to measure the angle of the cylinder to each other, if your motor is a 60 degree V4 or a 90 degree V4?
I just picked u a 1997 90 hp OCEAN PRO evinrude...and looking online for info about the OSI ignition system I found prompts asking if the motor is a 60 or a 90 degree?
also there is a hose going into each head off to the side about a 1/4" ID that is plugged with a brass pipe fitting plug on one side( no hose that side) and a hose that is plugged on the other side.
what is this for???? is this for a water temp??
the previous owner thought is was where the oil was injected...but I know that the oil was introduced into the fuel pump...at least that is what the other VRO motors did.
besides it is only one hose per side of the motor....the oil has to get mixed with the gas before it goes into the cylinder!!
Ill tell ya though that motor is heavy!!!! busted a nut moving it around!
