60 evinrude fuel consumption

I have an '83 60 hp evinrude and I am amazed at the low consumption. I did 60 miles on Sat and 40 miles on Sun and used 60 and 40 liters respectively (25 liters = 6,6 gallons). Is this normal for these motors? I am also very impressed with the power output. Is this normal?

About 3.8 mpg, I'd be happy if I was getting that, probably high side of average
