60 hp evinrude truble ideling

i have a 3 celinder 1998 60 evnirude that idels lick crap i have took the carbs off and cleaned them and blew them out . it rund better but it still has trouble ideling you have to push the chock to start even when worm ! help please !it runs great at high speed ! can someone please tell me the carb needle valve setting! all three are diffrent the top one is set at 2 hr and 20 min out 2 is set at 1 hr 5 min and the third is set at 2 hr 5 min out does this sound rite to anyone ? how should they be set ! thank you

Look at the "TOP SECRET" thread at the top of the forum. There are instructions on how to set the carb in there.

use the single needle instruction, one carb at a time. you also may need to set your idle speed stop screw up at little faster. it should idle between 600-750 in forward, in the water. all these adjustment must be made on the water. you want to adjust the carbs independently, no matter what the others are set at.
