I have just reassembled the waterpump and gone to start the engine - without success.:(

It seems that I may have inadvertantly done something that has caused the engine to start flooding badly. I am not sure of the choke arrangement ( is it that electronic box , with the red adjustment knob? purple wire attached...)

fuel was all over the place and even comming out of the exhaust ( between prop and gearcase - black oily film)

Any help here is appreciated
Cheers

Thanks for your help, Ill try it tonight.

What is this unit ?- I am assuming it is a control for the choke.

I cant find anything in the manual about it...

Thanks again.
