60HP Johnson Specs

Hi Guys,

I just picked up an old Lund Renegade with a 60hp Johnson VRO. I know the boat is a 1987 but was curious if the engine was as well. Was also wondering what the WOT should be for this engine. I am hitting 5800 RPM's with a 15 pitch prop. The model number is J60TLCUC and the serial number is R 7436022. I can't find any info regarding the WOT range anywhere on the net. Thank you for your help!

Your motor is a 1987 model. Wide open throttle should be a max of 5500 rpm.

I was also looking at some props and there is an option for a 13 spline large gearcase and a 13 spline small gearcase. How do I tell which one I have? Thanks for the help!
