Yea I suppose I could see that being true especially if it were over that much time. Wow $9000 brand new motor? Guess those Evinrude were expensive especially with controls, steering, install.

As for the price you sold it for yea I would say I wish I still had it too but heck we all have our reasons for quick cash.

Have you ever priced a new outboard? No need for quick cash, I just needed to get rid of it.
It was the 3rd boat and had not used in a few years. I offerd to give it away but did not have any takers and ran outta time & space.
