'63 Big Twin carb parts question

I ordered the Sierra 18-7010 carb kit for my 1963 Big Twin 40hp. On the low speed needle valve, my parts catalog shows 2 packing washers (307583) between 2 washers (306027). Are latter nylon? When I took it apart it had only a single piece of packing between 2 nylon washers.

Also, what I think is supposed to be the float chamber to carb body boss gasket (for OMC 307778) that came with the kit has too small an inside diameter. Can anyone confirm this?

Sorry for my many posts these days. First time through this procedure so that should slow down soon. I'm opting to start individual threads for different aspects of this rather than combining into a single post. I think this has the most benefit for others who will search the forum.

Thanks.

The parts catalog is the correct reference. Yes, two packings between two nylon washers.

I don't know what Sierra gave you for the boss gasket. Obviously it needs to fit.

Thanks, F_R. Man, that's aggravating about the boss gasket. I've seen this with carb kits for cycles, too - wrong size or thickness of O-rings, etc.
