Looks like it is a 1960, but in any case always go by serial number, not year, when hunting parts. Looks like they do stock the impeller, but this motor has an unusual design that makes it a real challenge to work on. However, with the experts on this board (I'm not one of them) you may be able to do it. I think it requires some special tools to get to the water pump. Might be worth paying someone who has the tools to do it, if you can find somebody, or even ship the lower unit off to have it done. Here is a link for info from Grubbs Marine:

http://www.oldmercs.com/196061Merc200.htm

You can also find some real good info and expertise, especially on the older motors, here:

http://www.pfs-ware.com/kwast/mercboard/index.htm

Good luck!

Thanks for the quick answers. Looks like we've got hope. Though the mechanical part doesn't sound so inviting now. Might just have to decide whether its worth running or just hang onto as an old motor....

Jeff
