All,

Wanted to say thanks for all the information that you have made available on this Forum.

I am about to start the restoration of my 65 Gulfcruiser and I have a lot more confidence after reading up on all the info available here

I will be posting pictures of the beast here shortly

I am currently in the process of removing all the trim, carpet, etc...

I will be tackling the floors and stringers first, as after removing the carpet I can see the PO has glassed in a patch panel in the center section...Cannot wait to see what awaits me below

Must be a ton of stagnant water as the boat is mosquito infested

Anyways, wanted to send a thanks to all members as I am really enjoying all the information that is shared for us newbies

My best wishes are with you, pour some bleach in the bilge, mosquitos hate it.

Thanks for the bleach tip

Already had to get rid of quite a few wasp nests :)
