65 HP 3 cyl Merc piston cylinder question

Hi, this outboard is 1973 (i think) it overheated the top cylinder. Compression is now 60 psi. I looked thru the exhaust port and there is damage. It never seized.
I am wondering it the cylinder is a cast sleeve or plated with something. So, can i hone it?

No it is cast iron and all three will likely needed bored due to wear and out of roundness. Hone wont fix it....

I have not been able to find oversized pistons for this engine. Only used standard size.
