65 hp Johnson No spark

No spark on #1 cyl. have changed coil out with #2 coil worked correctly on #2. changed sensor wires #1 & #2 no spark problem moved to #2 cyl. Where should I look next.

Sounds like it's your sensor. Only concrete way to test it is to observe the sensor's output with an oscilloscope or peak-reading voltmeter. You have three, so compare the bad against the two good ones. <br /><br />If you don't have that, you can meaure the resistance of the sensor coils - if one's an open circuit, there's your problem. Be aware though that the sensor can show normal resistance & still not be putting out enough signal.<br /><br />You could also try a 12V light bulb in place of the oscilloscope or peak-reading voltmeter. If that works, please report back - it was suggested here earlier.

Thanks I will check that out and see what happens. one more question will I need to remove the fly wheel to replace the sensor?

Yup, not a big deal though. Standard automotive "harmonic dampener puller" will work with the three threaded holes in the flywheel. Buy some bolts with the right threads. Post back if you have trouble.
