65 Starflite Selectric 75HP control compatibility Ques.

Bought a nice 1965 Evinrude Starflite VII 75HP with the selectric control. Buttons are shot and the phenol boards are broken. I have seen some other controls out there and I need to know what other years and HPs are compatible with mine if any. This is not a Hydro shift.

You MUST use a control/shift switch compatable with Electric clutches. Those meant for Hydro-Electric will instantly and permanently damage the motor if attempted.

So, what that boils down to is any V-4 that DOES NOT have through the prop hub exhaust. Also the 40hp twins through 1970 will work.

Johnson Controls for the same motor series will work too.
