laymans terms...any chance have you removed the distributor cap to see if the carbon electrode(on a spring) that makes contact with the centre of rotor is in one piece? I recently had problems with our engine. Checked and found no spark to plugs. Checked wire connections on cap, removed cap and found carbon electrode had blew apart hence no spark. Just my two bits, after repair we are back on the water.<br />Cheers DT

DT,<br /><br />He had no spark from the coil. That sorta rules out anything 'downstream' of the coil. We got spark by imitating the trigger at the powerpack, so it's the trigger that's crook.<br /><br />Chris.........
