66, merc 50hp help

Need some more help. {Laddies} was agreat help to me on finding yr and also providing timing illustration. since having re-hanging the engine i have no way of knowing exactly how the throttle and shifting controls are attached to the engine housing ive located the bracket (top and bottom) the problem is the cables have two pieces that slide into them and then are anchored in place by top half of bracket, "sounds like im confused right!!" When i have them in place they dont line up! if anyone has a diagram i would greatly appreciate it. Signed Dazed and confused.

ya might wanna look into getting yourself a manual if you dont allready have one....go to this website and download one, http://www.brunswickmarineemea.com/download/preparesearch?mod=4&lang=EN beside button.."Launch" select the things that best describe your eng. and hit launch or than that im no good to ya, Laddies deffinatly knows his s.h.i.t. though send this question to him in a message if he doesnt respond to this thread Good Luck.
