Re: 66 MFG edinboro Custom

Ok. I've been trying to research some things. I've came across something called Nida Core. Does anyone know about this product and if it works well with fixing the transom. It is about 100 cheaper than Seacast. I think Landscape Wiz talked about it in his posting. Has anyone used it and if so how did it work???

More with the Fun n Sun seats. One has a tear. I'll have to repair that. On my previous post I showed a picture of the 60 Johnson outboard. Its locked up. Any ideas on how to un lock it. I've tried spraying WD 40 onto the pistons but nothing??

Re: 66 MFG edinboro Custom

Hello,IF anyones still interested.I just used the naida core transom material in my 66 edinboro custom.I couldnt be happier with it.Its better then seacrap,(Seacast).Ive seen seacast crack and turn to powder.Nidacore is 7 times stronger then wood and four times stronger then seacast. It was easy to do with a helper and waaaaay cheaper.I found a local distributor so no shipping charges saved me 100 bucks. Its very strong and it increases boat value do to the fact that it'll never get wet and rot out again.I poured an 1/8 inch sheet of it about 4 square inches and it took a couple trys and everything I had to break it.Strong stuff.I highly recommend it.

Does anyone know where I can buy the Nida Core product or the ARJAY product.
Ceramic Pourable Compound.

I live in central ohio. Any help would be great. I've emailed the suppliers but they don't seem to want to get back with me.
