Got a few hours of grinding in today, but feel like I barely got anything accomplished. Tomorrow I won't be able to do anything, Friday will be my next shot at it. Thought I'd be ready to start on the livewell next week, but not at this pace.

Spent about an hour grinding today, and actually feel I have made some progress. I wonder if it's possible to build up an immunity to fiberglass itch, because today I was grinding in shorts and t-shirt, and I'm not even itchy.

I also wonder if anyone still reads this thread, 4 posts, 0 replies...

I read it. Don't worry, I don't get many posts on mine either but I can tell people read it.

Grinding sucks. I have no immunity to glass. I wear jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt under my bunny suit. I wear gloves and rubber bands around my sleeves. I keep my self blown off with compressed air when I stop grinding like to change out a disc. As soon as I'm done, the suit comes off and I hit the shower with water as cold as I can stand it. I'll use the suit 2 or 3 times then I trash it and break out a new one.

I'm looking forward to reading more on your project, and seeing even more pics. Good job, and thumbs up for hanging in there!

Now if this dang Tennessee wind storm would just die down, I might get SOMETHING done today, sheesh. :( Is it blowing this bad where you are? I'll have to post a pic later, of our gazebo that's been blown over! lol

hi bud. i been away for a few days, how'd the transom go?

nice work on the trailer.
but i noticed one thing, the bow eye is above the bow cradle. thats backwards, (bow eye goes below the cradle)

that way, if the two vechile stops suddenly, (accident ) the boat wont turn in to a missle.

if you cant change the config, at least a safety chain fron the trailer straight up to the bow eye hook, it will help, not perfect, but it will help.

cheers sarg
