i need to know what the correct fuel-oil mixture and the right sparkplugs are for this 67 20hp johnson. im having trouble gettin it to idle smooth and run at full throttle. kbd9

To check for the plugs, go to sparkplugs.com. Just follow the step by step and it will hook you up with the exact plug needed for that motor.

I have a 1967 20HP johnson and was told to use 50:1 for the fuel ratio.

thanks fellas, 50-1 is what i used so thats good to know im close. i was concerned because when i would give it full throttle it lug thru the water for a few seconds and then all of a sudden take off. and i will try sparkplug.com . thanks kbd9
