I was given a 67 40 HP evinrude, My problem is that the starter solenoid was missing. Can anyone email me a picture or a wiring diagram so I can figure out where all the wiring goes.<br /><br />Thanks
Welcome to Iboats, Popcorn!<br />You're likely missing the entire external wiring box, along with the electrical harness. You can either make your own or pick up a used one. If you have a generator as well, you'll need the regulator and fuses that are attached to the box.<br /><br />Here's a schematic so you can get the idea:<br /> http://www.shareaproject.com/fullImages/2627.jpg
