Nothing like a good wire job to "energize" the boat. lol

I'm only going to go in freshwater in this boat.
What size and how many magnesium anodes should I mount to my hull? I figured I'd put them under the water line on bare aluminum skin of the transum.

I only have one zinc on my motor and replace every couple years. I would only put one on and keep an eye. Unless you got a major issue or leave it in water near other boats that get shore power you shouldn't have an issue. Trailer queens like ours don't have the same risk.

I removed the rat's nest. I'm going to go with rechargeable LEDs so I don't have to run any wiring for the few occasions I need running lights.

Rechargeable running lights, I never thought of that but makes sense since I seen them on kayaks and stuff. Smart move to limit wiring.

I'm still tinkering with the electrical.
I've been keeping a lookout for a windshield with a swing door center section. My windshield made it difficult to get out to the bow. I picked this up today. This is it on another boat. By measuring things out, it looks like it's going to be a great replacement for mine.

Does anyone have a measurement for how high the stock windshield is perpendicular to the dash?
I'm looking like I'm going to be at 24 inches straight up from the dash at the middle.

I haven't gotten around to trying the color anywhere on the boat, but here's a couple more examples of how well it matches in different lightings.
It picks up the different hues.
I thought I had pics in here where I sanded, scrapped, and cleaned up the bottom and then primer. I hit a light spray coat with etching for the bare spots and then Sherwin Williams oil based primer.
Today I painted the bottom with the Sherwin Williams color match mix, and I'm real happy with the match.

I just wanted to get the corrosion on the bottom cleaned up, treated, and painted sooner than later.
I hope to paint the sides this summer.

I must have not sealed the holes that I made for the sacrificial nodes because I took in probably two or three gallons of water being out front 7am to 430pm.
I'm going dumb about 5 gallons of water inside and see if I can see where the leak is.

I've been really happy with my beater.
It's not pretty, but it does the job and doesn't leak one bit.
.
I plan on keeping it ugly but safe, solid, and reliable.
.
The keel and bunk rollers had worn out so instead of replacing them I researched and learned that bunks would give my riveted boat better support.
.
I am jacking them up bare wood tight to the hull so I can get them adjusted perfectly flat. Then I will carpet them.
.

Don't carpet if you are going to use in saltwater. If not, then shouldn't be a problem.

Once a year for three days in brackish water.
Would Salt-Away remove the salt from the carpet?
