67 Johnson 20 hp

Have started a new thread, still having problems. Took everyones suggestion and replaced.
-coil pack-cleaned the points-new cam magnito(cause is was cracked and key to hold fly wheel)-and all new fuel lines-new spark plugs
Problem being- the engine seems to bog down when in forward. Idles fine and reves. in reverese. Like it should when in forward. Spark is good when i pulled them the bottom spark plug is dirty(oily a little) while the top plug looks brand new like no oil or dirty at all. Could it be that the top cylinder is not getting any fuel, Just looking to diagnois this problem. thANKS MARC

There are only a couple of ways that one cylinder might not get fuel
1. No/low compression on that one.
2. Broken or held-open reed.
3. Major leak in crankcase.

Note that the carburetor is not one of them.

Water getting into the cylinder might be the problem.
