Have a 1967 Johnson, 80 horse V4 electric shift. Trying to match controls to it, looking at a control from a 40 HP 1962 Johnson, by photos it looks close but not sure it will match up. Can anyone offer an informed opinion?
The controls and shift wiring with the motor have been hacked, the guy was shifting it with a toggle switch on the dash, and I'd rather plug a good control in than mess with schematics.
