This 1968, 55hp, 3 cylinder beauty has been my baby since new. I have service manual and maintain meticulously. It idles and runs WOT perfectly. However, off-idle it begins to miss (typical 2 cycle shudder when lean) and when throttle is opened it stumbles and misses over the bottom half of RPM range ... it then smooths out runs great wide open. I have checked carb, throttle, distributor linkage adjustments per service manual. Removed carbs and assured clean appearance and nothing obviously wrong WITHOUT carb body dissasembly. New, clean fuel mix, fuel pump and plugs, in desperation, changed nothing. Please help! Thanks.
