68 johnson 55

i have a old 1968 johnson 55 that is tring to start but its spitting fuel out the prop i dont see any fuel hoses leaking. im kinda new to boat motors but im pretty good with cars not boats. so i could use some help

you could have carburetor floats stuck in the open position thus allowing fuel to flow in the cylinders and flood the engine

thanks for your help i got it running it was just flooded but its started right up
