69 evinrude 155 hp need help wiring key up

i have a 69 115hp evenrude electric shift/push button control. that i need to wire up to the key ingntion but i dont know what wires go where, there is only {1=black wire/1=purple w/white stripe/,1=yellow/, 1=purple,/,and 1=red/ but there is one gray wire,and another purple wire that comes from the control harness also does this wire from the control get connected to the ingtion?

Are you sure that wire is yellow? On my push button there is 2 purple, 1 white, 1 red that go to the ignition key. The gray wire is for your tachometer.

sorry your right it is white. so where do i begin what wire goes on what,and the purple wire from the push button control where does that hook on to
