69 merc 350 35hp - engine vibration

My old merc motor does not vibrate at higher rpm's, but does vibrate a bit at low rpms (idle). Is this normal?<br /><br />Thanks in advance.

Hi Tsutter,<br /> Yeah, you'll see a little bit. That's actually typical of most larger bore twin cylinder motors, across brands... Mine idles smoothly in the "sound" sense, but it has a noticeable rhythm if you're looking at it...<br />- Scott

Thanks Scott:<br /><br />That's exactly it. If you weren't looking at it you wouldn't notice the vibration, but you can see it at idle. Since you own a couple of em I was hoping you would chime in on this.<br /><br />Thanks again.<br /><br />Tom
