I am trying to find the year that my motor was built. Serial no. 571 58521

Alcan; I went and checked the tag again to see if there was some kind of mistake and here are the results of what is on the tag. 7.5 @ 4000 rpm. Model no.571 58781 Serial no 781 9692.. It has a nutural lever and if she was a 1947 she looks good for her age. Could you check it again in case I made a mistake before. Thanks again, Phil

Ok, The last maodel you give is for a 1957 7.5 hp model. All Sears Elgin motors with model#s that begin with 571 were made by West Bend.

Would either of you know were to get a prop for that 7.5 (I have one) or if another one from another motor would work
