I have a 7.5 game fisher model number 217585841. I bought it for 50 and I let it sit for a long time but I got a call from a person that needs a 5-10hp motor that was "simple" I was about to send him off when I remembered I had the game fisher so I told the guy I would get to work on it and see what I can do. I was going to sell it to the guy for 400. I rebuild outboards as a hobby but I haven't dealt with one like this. The problem is on the carb there is a inlet for 2 fuel lines, one being for the internal tank and the other being for the optional external tank. The two terminals or nubs I guess you could call them that the fuel lines hook on to are leaking. I took apart the motor as far as the tank and the air cooled cover plate as well as the carb, reed valve, and intake covers. To my surprise the piston and rings are in perfect condition and the motor is in good condition as well. So with it idling and rattling away rpms up and down. I cleaned out the carb I just dont get where or why the carb is leaking its not from the bowl to body gasket it must be the fuel inlet nubs they are mounted on the plate that screws into the carb. Im just lost there is also a orange tube I guess acting as some kind of fuel pump or diaphragm. Im sure someone has some suggestions or something to point me in the right direction. Thanks
