I just rebuilt my 7.5 gamefisher carb. and I put it all back together and now it floods. It didn't have the problem before that it ran fine and I also just replaced the head gasket. I know this has nothing to do with the carb flooding. I do not have a manual right now and do not know the proper way to set the float any info would be greatly appreciated.

Flip the carb upside down and the float should be level when closed. Make sure the fuel pump bladder is in place. Old ones like to tear. I believe there should be a tiny white rubber seal up inside the float valve hole. It's easy to blow that out with an air compressor and not realize it's gone.

I recall that 5Hp Tecumseh carb kits had them in there. Anyplace that sells lawnmower parts should have one.
