I checked to see what seal's your engine used... your model no. is invalid...check again...theres a couple of diffrences between the seal design and retainer on these uni blocks and price as I have discovered. Also a big dif on how easy it is to get the lower bearing out...really need your engine no. 640-xx
Edit, ok I'm taking a guess here that you actually have, Model #217-586751 and if so you should have better luck with getting seals, lower bearing removal will be a breeze as well, older blocks had a seal stop molded in the uni block making bearing removal a PITA, and yes replace the lower bearing for sure...I'm not sure you even need a lock ring on the newer style lower seal
