7.5 Merc carb

Help, I have a 78 Merc 7.5 with a B type carb. The Selco repair manual calls for a inlet needle and SPRING. All the part suppliers have a needle and seat. Does anyone know if this carb requires a spring? The carb has been worked on before and when I took it apart there was no spring.

Thanks, I found that part before. The problem I have is that the manual calls for a needle and spring, but the parts list calls for a needle and seat. On the carb itself the seat is pressed in and does not seem to be replaceable?
