I have a 70 hp Evinrude, 1978. Runs good.<br />I changed the impeller last year, water runs out the pisser just fine and motor is cooling properly, however lots of water is exiting just between the power head base and the drive shaft housing. There is actually water inside the cowling at the bottom. Almost no water is exiting out the exhaust.<br />I found some previous posts for this but they were all mercs.<br />My manual does not give enough information to show the water path in that area.
