Hey Moose.<br /> I think you are refering to an internal hose mounted on the water pump? This is the only hose I know of. Anyhoo, it runs up,and into the pickup tube in the foot,to take water to the powerhead.<br />It need not be tightened on this tube,as it is tapered.But alignment (of course), is critical.<br />Is this the hose you are talking about?
