Friend of mine has a 70 Tohatsu 2- stroke was running fine until he lost a ground on his coil pack. He changed the pack, plugs,and ground , also cleaned the carbs and it jumped up fine the first time. Idles fine and runs a little studdery at WOT. but the acceleration is extremely sluggish and spikes. Cleaned the carbs at least 10 more times. Gets Spark, Compression is correct, no obstructions with fuel. Ill get the model number for the motor and post it tomorrow any thoughts on what this might be?
