703 controls conversion?

I am looking at purchasing a Yamaha 25hp outboard with 703 controls. The current owner has the controls side mounted near or on the rail of his pontoon. My pontoon has a console and I would like to put the controls on the right side there. Can these controls be reversed or converted?

So they are mounted on the left side now? If so than yes, I believe it is easy to switch them over.

un bolt the handle, unscrew the interlock, reattach on the other side.
