A constant horn normally signals an overheat. The overheat switch may be shorted internally. To test: pull the wire's knife connector apart. It's under the rubber sleeve right by the switch. If the horn stops, replace the switch in the head. Also possible there is a problem with the horn. You did not mention the year. The newer ones (early 90's) have horns which will beep for a few seconds every time the key is turned to on.

You could also have a tan wire grounded in the system somewhere.

Missing bolt ???----That may be a location for a temperature sending unit.

The brown/blue wire on the head's port side goes to the overheat switch. Disconnect it and see what happens to your beep problem.
A temperature sending unit is an optional thing for a temperature gauge in the dashboard.

ok, so the port side tan wire is what would set off my overheat alarm, and my actually thermostat would be under the panel with 4 bolts in the middle?

Overheat switch and TEMPERATURE sending unit are 2 different items !!---Thermostat / poppit valve are under the cover with 4 bolts.

On your engine it may be easier. Looks like the temp switch is held in with a single retainer/screw. You should be able to unscrew it and remove the temp switch, effectively removing it's ground. Once that is done turn the key to on and see what happens. If the horn is silent, replace that overheat switch only. The thermostat is probably not be part of the problem.
