Hi everyone,
I have a 2000 Johnson 70 2-stroke that has had some issues lately. For whatever reason, the low oil light keeps coming on. I keep putting more oil in it, which helps for about a day, but then goes on again the next time I use the boat. Over the lest few weeks I have probably put about 3 1/2 gallons of oil in it and used it for a total of maybe 6 hours of actual engine time. Is it possible it is burning that much oil all of a sudden, or do you think there may be something wrong with the sensor? What can I do to fugure this out?
