70hp Johnson - Short or long shaft?

Hey guys, how can I tell shaft lengths by model numbers?

I'm looking at a 1982 Johnson 70hp # J70TLCNB.
I've found there's a # J70ELCNB also...but not which is which, and what the shaft lengths are

The----- L------ says it is a LONGSHAFT for a 20" transom.

L = Long shaft
CN = 1982
