I have a mint running 65HP inline 4 that lacks power tilt and trim, I'd like to use it on an 18' boat I have but it really needs to have power t/t.
What other motors share the same bracket or may donate a t/t unit?
Are the t/t units the same on all inline motors?
How much do I have to change over?
I considered an add on unit but they are too pricey. If I can salvage one used to make this work I'll do it, otherwise I'll wait and find a motor that is already equipped. The boat was already Merc powered, so it will be easiest to just hang the 65 on it if I can come up with a t/t unit.
