If you are ABSOLUTELY certain that the engine is getting fuel at all times, the problem you are describing is typical for a condenser starting to go bad. As it heats up it shorts and the engine loses power. Let it cool for a couple of minutes and everything is fine until it starts to heat up again.
The condenser (actually the capacitor in the Magna-Power capacitor discharge electronic ignition) is most likely starting to go bad. Unfortunately, the electronic boxes are "potted" with an epoxy-like material and can not be repaired by the average person.
If your engine is one with an external capacitor on the terminal board, (about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide)try removing that and see if it helps. I doubt it since this is on the charging system, but you never know
If you have the option try testing another electronic ignition box. If you don't have the option of trying, you are going to need to gamble and buy a used unit, hoping that will solve the problem.
However, the 130 is a thirsty engine. Before doing the expensive repair, I would replace the fuel pump diaphragm and check for restrictions from the tank right to the carbs, to be certain that it is not a fuel problem.
Even if you don't think it is the problem, you always do the cheap repairs and checks before investing big money. Never take anything for granted.
