Anyone know the charging output of a 72 johnson 125 motor? I saw somewhere it was 2 amps at idle and 9 at WOT and was curious if it was actually true. Thanks.
The 72 does have a stator rated at 9 amps. When the battery gets fully recharged, the volts will read up to 16+ volts on the voltmeter, since the rectfier is unregulated on that model.
