"72" Merc 650 3 cyl. cloged Idle passages

It runs fine at higher rpms.but man who had it had it setting for a good while. gas in tank was green and bit milkey with a lot of water droplets in bottom of tank.What is the best way to clean passages or carbs.

Im assuming you have cleaned the tank, got new fuel and replaced fuel filter. A lot of people on here suggest running a product called Seafoam in with their fuel to help keep everything clean. If you do a search on it on this forum you'll be able to find out more.<br /><br />You may have to rebuild yor carbs aswell to get rid of any gunk.<br /><br />cheers<br />Troy

Troy <br />I already used Seafoam it help overall but idle at best faster setting than normal.will not slow idle yet.
