73 50hp wount turn off

I swaped my motor from an old tri-hull boat to a newer v-hull but now when i turn off the key it stays running and the only way it turns off is to choke it to death but the choke on the key is still working
Help!

black wire w/yellow tracer is the kill wire. or bad ignition switch.
