73 donzi deck removal?

hi i have a 1973 18ft donzi. i need to put a new gas tank in it. i have seen pictures of people removing the whole deck of the boat"complete top". it doesnt look to hard. once you remove the trim around the boat theres screws. has anyone done this or know anything about it. thanks

never done it on a donzi but there all basicly the same. your on the right track. you will need 5 or 6 people to help lift it off the hull, and have a place ready to store it. you will have to disconnect any wiring first.
