hello guys does my 73 merc have a thermostat because i changed my impeller and it still not peeing any water...???

Nope, try probing the outlet hose with a wire or give it a shot up there from a garden hose, or both.

i will try that anything else it might be?? whn i installed impeller i twisted drive shaft clockwise while i put steady pressure on the housing that was the correct way right??
